Hey everyone,

I just want to write a short update from the Outreach. I am on the Next Wave (www.sy-nextwave.com) right now and lead a DTS Outreach with nine Students and another Leader (that makes 11 of us).
First we had three weeks in London. Where we had another 11 DTS Students with us. We mainly worked two weeks with the local church and the Earls Court Project I was part of the year before. We made Christmas for Homeless people with meals and Entertainment. In the third week 9 Students left to Ecuador and we spent a lot time on team time and learning dramas. In this week I had my birthday as well and I got an amazing Snickers-Cake… self-made!
After the London time we traveled down to Palamos/Spain to spend the rest of our Outreach on the s/y Next Wave where I was on last year as well. This boat is just amazing and God is using it really nicely. Because it has a pretty decent size it is just an attraction to people and automatically you get the chance to invite people, be hospitable and talk about Jesus. And on board of the Next Wave it is really easy to hear God and grow closer to him. It is character-building for example we don’t have hot showers because the heating system is broken and we don’t really know if we get hot showers before we leave.
Last week we sailed to Séte/France. The south of France official counts as unreached people group. Here is a lot of depression and occult stuff is going on. I am really glad to be here and serve this Nation. This first week we had a lot of prayer going on to fight in the spiritual and get discernment and spiritual targets for our time here and I just want to share a short encouraging story about prayer. Yesterday morning we went out to pray for the churches in Séte and when we came back to the boat we had a local pastor coming on board. So we set up a meeting with some people of the church and we shared each others stories. I talked to one women and she told me what they need and how the feel, that they need encouragement and that they feel ashamed and small for being Christians. And everything she said was exactly what I prayed for in the Morning! And they told us that we are an answer of there prayers. This is so cool because we were supposed to be a little more north but because of some issues we changed our location in France! This weekend I am going with six of the team and two of the crew to a church in Montpellier to work with them… Exciting!!!
