Summer 11

Dear Friends,

Delight yourself in the Lords and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
Once again he proved to me that his word is not just a word but The Word! The Truth!
Since I have done my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in 2008 I had the hearts desire to do a Bible school! To fall more in love, and go deeper with Him and his word. And to use the learned skills as tools for his glory in my life! A bible school would help me a lot to live closer to the bible and with that, to teach what it means to have a biblical lifestyle!
And that is my duty. To help other (young) Christians to understand their calling and walk in it. (That’s what I do as a DTS Staff). God has given me this downtime and the possibility to do a three-month bible school in Argentina.
My school begins on the 12th of December in Corrientes, Argentina.

An other dream I always had was to go the States! And now I had the impression to go to the States and to, like once Joshua and Caleb, “spy” the land and to find out if God has a bigger plan with this nation and me.
I was for four weeks at the east coast and right now I am for four weeks at the west coast.
This week I am with a Family in San Jose who just started to pioneer a Youth with a Mission Base.
It’s a true adventure and I really enjoy to be here in the US and to get refilled in God after I finished my time in England and after not so much time outs.
Isn’t it the resting phase where our muscles grow? I can have a light in my room but if it is not connected to the energy source it will just not shine!
Jesus says, come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matt 11:28)
Like the Lamp we only can shine if we are connected to the energy source, that’s why we need to follow the call of Jesus to find rest!

Prayer requests:
I would be really thankful if you could support me in prayer!

Language! The Bible school will be in English and Spanish! But the YWAM Base in Corrientes is just Spanish speaking. That
means IN the school I shouldn’t have problems but outside of the classroom it will definitely be a challenge!

Future! There are many opportunities for me right now, one would be to come here to San Jose and work with this family.
At the end of the day I want to do what’s on Gods heart. So please pray that I have clarity about what that will be.

Finances! I am convinced that God is our provider! And he proves that again and again! Finances should never be the
reason for us not to do something God told us to do. I am really thankful that he provided that he carried me through the
last three years and I am convinced that his provision will not stop. It is written “Ask and you will receive” and that is the
reason that I ask God for his (continued) provision and ask you to join in my pray.

“But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” Luke 22:32

Like Jesus modeled it so we should pray for each other and as he commanded should we strengthen each other.

Liebe Freunde,

Aus, Auf und Ab

AUSkundschaften, AUFtanken und ABendteuer!

Habe deine Lust am Herrn, der wird dir geben, was dein Herz wünscht. (Psalm 37:4)
Wieder einmal hat er es mir bewiesen, dass sein Wort nicht nur ein Wort ist, sondern das Wort! Die Wahrheit!
Seit ich meine DTS (Jüngerschaftschule) 2008 gemacht habe hatte ich den Herzenswunsch eine Bibelschule zu machen! Mich mehr in Ihn und sein Wort zu verlieben und zu vertiefen. Und die gelernten Fähigkeiten als Werkzeug für seine Herrlichkeit in meinem Leben zu benutzen! Eine Bibelschule würde mir sehr helfen näher and der Bibel zu leben und somit besser zu lehren was es heißt einen Biblischen Lebensstil zu haben!
Und dass ist mein Auftrag. Anderen (jungen) Christen zu helfen ihre Berufung zu erkennen und darin zu leben. (Das ist was ich als DTS Mitarbeiter mache).
Nun hat Gott mir diese Auszeit geschenkt und die Möglichkeit eine dreimonatige Bibelschule in Argentinien zu machen.
Meine Schule beginnt am 12. September in Corrientes, Argentinien!

Ein anderer Traum den ich immer hatte war einmal in die USA zu gehen! Und nun hatte ich den Eindruck nach Amerika zu gehen und so, wie einst Josua und Kaleb ausgesandt wurden um das Gebiet Jerichos auszukundschaften, das Land „auszukundschaften“ und herauszufinden ob Gott einen größeren Plan mit mir und dieser Nation hat.
Ich habe 4 Wochen an der Ostküste verbracht und befinde mich im Moment für 4 Wochen an der Westküste.
Diese Woche werde bin ich mit einer Familie in San Jose die hier einen neuen Jugend Mit Einer Mission (JMEM) Standort aufbauen!

Es ist ein wahres Abendteuer und ich genieße es sehr hier in den Staaten zu sein und in Gott aufzutanken nachdem ich meine Zeit in England beendet habe und nicht sehr viel Auszeit hatte.
Denn ist es nicht so dass ein Muskel in der Ruhephase wächst? Ich kann zwar eine Lampe in meinem Zimmer haben, aber wenn sie nicht angeschlossen ist gibt es einfach kein licht! Um zu scheinen muss sie an eine Energiequelle angeschlossen sein!
Jesus sagt: „Kommt her zu mir, alle ihr Mühseligen und Beladenen! Und ich werde euch Ruhe geben.“ (Mt 11:28)

Wie eine Lampe, können wir nur scheinen wenn wir an die Energiequelle angeschlossen sind! Deshalb müssen wir dem Aufruf Jesus folgen um ruhe zu finden!


Gebetsanliegen:
Ich wäre sehr dankbar wenn ihr mich im Gebet unterstützen könnt!

Sprache! Die Bibelschule wird in English und Spanisch sein! Der Jugend mit einer Mission Standort Corrientes ist aber
ausschließlich Spanisch! Das heißt ich sollte keine Probleme IM unterricht haben! Aber außerhalb wird bestimmt eine
Herausforderung!

Zukunft! Es gibt im Moment sehr viele Möglichkeiten für mich, eine ist natürlich hierher nach San Jose zu kommen um mit
dieser Familie zu arbeiten. Aber letztendlich möchte ich dass tun was auf Gottes Herzen liegt. Bitte bete dass ich Klarheit
bekomme was das ist.

Finanzen! Ich bin davon überzeugt dass Gott unser Versorger ist! Und er beweist es immer wieder. Nie sollten Finanzen ein
Grund sein das wir etwas nicht zu tun was Gott uns aufträgt! Ich bin sehr dankbar dass er mich die letzten drei Jahre
getragen hat und versorgt hat. Und ich bin überzeugt dass seine Versorgung nicht endet! Es heißt „Bittet und es wird euch
gegeben“, darum bitte ich Gott um seine (weitere)Versorgung und dich, in mein bitten einzustimmen.

Ich aber habe für dich gebeten, dass dein Glaube nicht aufhöre. Und wenn du dereinst dich bekehrst, so stärke deine Brüder. Lukas 22:32

So wie Jesus es uns vormachte sollen wir auch füreinander beten und wie er es uns befohlen hat sollen wir uns gegenseitig Stärken.

Dinge ändern sich...

Hey… dinge ändern sich bald in meinem Leben! Um genau zu sein meine Adresse. Denn ich werde Mitte Juni Harpenden und auch England verlassen! Dies ist zum einen sehr traurig, da dies mein Zuhause ist das mir über die letzten Jahre sehr ans Herz gewachsen ist aber auf der anderen Seite ist es sehr aufregend! Da sich neue Türen öffnen und ich mich ganz neu auf Gott verlassen kann! Ich liebe es hier aber es ist sehr gut in Bewegung zu bleiben denn wer rastet, rostet und es ist hier ein sehr sicherer Ort für mich und wenn wir einen Glaubensschritt aus unseren sicheren Umgebung machen wird Gott mit uns sein! Ich habe sehr viel gelernt und bin sehr dankbar für all die Freundschaften und alles andere das Gott mir hier geschenkt hat!
Ich denke es ist Zeit neu zu lernen meine Gaben und was Gott mir (auch hier) gegeben hat in einer neuen Umgebung anzuwenden und weiterzubilden!

Was nun?
Ich werde erst einmal für vier Wochen nach Deutschland kommen, um dass zu tun was ich die letzten Jahre nicht sehr viel getan habe! Einfach nur mit Freunden und vor allem meiner Familie Zeit verbringen!
Dann werde ich Mitte Juli in die USA fliegen. Dort werde ich zwei Monate damit verbringen Freunde zu sehen und zu beten. Beten um herauszufinden was Gott für mich geplant hat! Auch werde Ich mir einen JMEM Standort anschauen und dabei sehen was Gott mir über meine Beziehung mit den Vereinigten Staaten sagt!
In anderen Worten ich werde sehen ob Gott mein “Herz” für die USA vergrößert oder nicht! Und zu sehen ob Gott mich vielleicht länger dort haben möchte!

Dann geht es am Anfang September nach Argentinien, dort werde ich eine drei monatige Bibelschule machen. Ich hoffe meine Liebe zum Wort Gottes zu vertiefen zu können und noch mehr zu lernen wie ich das Wort Gottes als ein Werkzeug für meinen dienst benutzten kann!
Danach geht’s dann noch für eine kurze Zeit nach Brasilien um Freunde zu sehen und von Gottes Größe zu verkünden!

Und dann wieder nach Deutschland um dort Weihnachten und das neue Jahr zu feiern!
Ich hoffe und bete dass ich zu dem Zeitpunkt dann mehr weiß wie es weitergeht! Aber ein halbes Jahr ist ja noch lange hin!

Bitte betet für eine gute Abschließende Zeit hier in England und dass es nicht allzuschwer fällt am 14. Juni ins Auto zu steigen!

Things change...

Hey... soon things will change in my life! Or better: my Address is changing but I am not quiet sure where to. I will leave Harpenden and also England in middle of June. On the one Hand this is really sad, because this here is my home and everything came really close to my heart! On the other hand its really exciting because new doors are opening up and I again, can fully trust God in what is to come! I love it here but it’s also good to keep being on my toes, because this is my comfort zone and if we step out of our comfort zone God will show up!
I learned a lot here and I am really thankful for all my friendships and everything else God has given me here!
I think its time to learn how to use my gifts and all God gave me (here and before) in new Surroundings, and also how to develop them!

What’s next?
First I will go to Germany for four weeks, to do what I haven’t done much in the last years, hanging out with my friends and especially with my family!
Then I will fly to the States in the middle of July. I will spend two month there to see friends and to pray. To pray to find out what God has planned for me next! I will also see a YWAM Base there and I want to see if God continues to grow a heart in me for the nation or not! So what is God saying in relation about the States and me. And maybe if God wants me there for longer.
I always say “to see if I get a heart or get no heart for the nation!”

Then in the beginning of September I will go to Argentina to do a three month Bible school. I hope that my love to the word of God will be deepened and that I learn more how to use Gods word as a tool for my service!
After that I will go for a short time to Brazil, to see some friends and to proclaim the Greatness of my God!

Then I will return to Germany for Christmas and New Year! I hope and pray that by that point I will know more about my future but hey its still half a year!

Please pray that I have a good rest of my time here in England and that when the 14th of June comes its not too hard to sit in my car!
