About me

My name is Raphael Hartmann, I was born and raised in Germany. After working as a builder for a few years I joined YWAM in England 2008.

My great heart is discipleship and so part of my calling is really met in working for the DTS of YWAM. It is a discipleship course that is about 6 month long.

After almost three years in YWAM Harpenden, England I felt prompted to leave the Island, that really grew close to my heart.

And after a year of crazy Traveling and doing a YWAM Bible school in Argentina I found my new home in YWAM Ember Ink. In San Jose, California in 2012.
There I was part of a team for 2 years that was pioneering a new YWAM Location.

Then I had a one-year sabbatical that ended with the lecture phase of the Foundational School of Counselling with YWAM Switzerland. Now I am in Brazil on the Outreach of that school.

My heart beats for discipleship, worship, youth and young adults. I love investing in people and it is a privilege  to live my life for the One. Creator, lover, redeemer, comforter, friend...

I am living my life as a love song to him trying to put a smile on his face. This is my thank you and the only response I can have after what he did for me!

Über mich

Ich heiße Raphael Hartmann und ich bin in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen. Nachdem ich für ein paar Jahre als Maurer gearbeitet habe bin ich 2008 zu Jugend mit einer Mission (JmeM englisch YWAM) England gegangen.

Mein Herz und meine Berufung für Jüngerschaft ist seit dem in der DTS Jüngerschaftsschule von JmeM, ein ca 6 Monate lange Schule, sehr gewachsen.

Nach fast drei Jahren in YWAM Harpenden, England hatte ich den Eindruck das es Zeit war die Insel zu verlassen, die sehr an mein Herz gewachsen ist.

Nach einem verrückten Jahr auf Achse, inklusive YWAM Bibel Schule in Argentinien habe ich 2012 mein neues zuhause in YWAM Ember Ink in Kalifornien gefunden. Dort war ich für 2 Jahre um zu helfen einen neuen Jugend mit einer Mission Standpunkt aufzubauen.

Dann habe ich ein Sabbatjahr eingelegt übergehend in einer Seelsorge-schule mit YWAM in der Schweiz.
Jetzt bin ich in Brasilien auf dem Einsatz der Schule.

Mein Herz schlägt für Jüngerschaft, Lobpreis, Jugend und Junge Erwachsene. Ich liebe es mich in Leute zu investieren und es ist ein Privileg mein leben für Ihn, den Schöpfer, Liebhaber, Erlöser, Tröster, Freund...

Ich lebe mein leben als Liebeslied für ihn und versuche ein Lächeln auf sein Gesicht zu Zaubern. Das ist mein Dank und die einzigste Reaktion die ich ihm, nach allem was er für mich getan hat, schenken kann!
